- The submission is carried out online via the UKRNOIVI electronic system.
After registration, you receive a submission receipt that includes an application number, which allows you to track the progress of your case.
4. Payment of State Fees
A government fee is paid for filing the application and for each class under the Nice Classification.
5. Examination and Publication
The process consists of two stages:
- Formal examination — verification of the correctness of the documents.
- Substantive (qualification) examination — assessment of the mark’s distinctiveness.
The standard registration process takes 12–15 months.
6. Obtaining the Trademark Certificate
After a positive decision, your trademark is published in the official bulletin, and you receive the official certificate of registration.
Validity period — 10 years, with the option to renew for subsequent periods.
